April 16, 2017: Easter marks the resurrection of Jesus Christ after crucifixion. The ceremony started at 7 p.m. with the blessing of the fire and lighting the Easter candle which signifies Jesus the light of the world. The Eucharistic celebration was led by Rev. Fr. Paul Rego. The liturgical celebration included 4 readings from old testament with the psalms corresponding to each reading.
Rev. Fr. Paul conveyed his wishes to the parishioners and gave the candle of honor to the sponsors. The church magazine “Khursaacho Taalo” was released by Mrs. Helen Mendonca. The parishioners took part in the ceremony in big number.
