The bishop of our Udupi Diocese Rt.Rev.Dr.Gerald Isaac Lobo paid a pastoral visit to our parish on 23rd April 2022. He was welcomed at the main gate of our church by our parish priest Rev.Fr.Henry Mascarenhas, Vice president of parish council Dr,Vincent Alva and Secretary Mr.Lucas Dsouza along with our parishioners. He was welcomed in the procession and a small prayer service was organized. After the formal spiritual welcome, he gave a lecture on sacrament of Confirmation to the children receiving it on the day. The Eucharistic mass began at 4:30PM. Our bishop celebrated the mass along with our parish priest and Fr. Nelson Castelino. After the homily, our bishop gave the sacrament of Confirmation to the children of our parish. After the mass, our bishop visited our cemetery and led a small prayer service to pray for the souls of the departed.

On the 24th April 2022, our bishop celebrated the morning 7:30AM mass. He conducted the meeting with the different organizations of our parish.
